Workplan

OBJECTIVE 1: BEING TRUSTWORTHY

This objective aims at investigating cognitive architectures, identifying needed modules, their relationships, and the representation of the robot’s knowledge about the task and the user to provide robots with trustworthy behaviours in the case of self-adaptive and autonomous capabilities. The goal is to bridge the gap between design and implementation by creating an architecture that serves as the foundation for deploying trustworthy robots.

OBJECTIVE 2: SHOWING TRUSTWORTHINESS

Starting from the architecture and methods defined in Objective 1, Objective 2 aims at providing a prototype implementation of the robot’s interaction, adaptation, and verification capabilities.

OBJECTIVE 3: EVALUATING TRUSTWORTHINESS

This objective aims at providing a first evaluation of the methodologies investigated by the project. The objective is divided into 3 tasks. The first will identify the proper metrics of evaluation. In the second, the implemented prototype will be evaluated with small user studies. Finally, the third will provide guidelines for future developments.
